Yellow plating Montipora Confusa

We have a number of different coloured confusa, this one is a striking yellow colour with brownish coloured polyps and exhibits electric blue at some points around the growth perimeter.

So far we have only seen this coral encrust while forming thick plates. It is a very fast grower and can grow a few mm per day given the right conditions.

Its a medium to high light coral and prefers strong alternating flow to prevent detritus settlement as it grows.
