Wavereef CO2 Scrubber - 2kg (Large)

The Wavereef CO2 scrubber is designed to allow recirculation of air through your protein skimmer in a closed loop in order to maximise pH. Most other CO2 scrubbers pull air from the room, this scrubber offers the option of re-using the air that passes through the skimmer. The CO2 liberated by you protein skimmer is adsorbed into the CO2 media and permanently locked away. Raising pH in your reef increases coral growth and generally leads to a healthier environment. CO2 scrubbing is particularly useful if you have high levels of CO2 in the room where your reef tank is and can have a dramatic effect in improving the environment for your tank inhabitants.
