This little golden beauty has been with us for a couple of years and these are the first frags that we are offering for sale via the website.
The gold colour of this coral is exceptional and has a bright green element to the growth perimeter. Some of the oral discs turn sky blue while some develop some pink and purple colour. It's truly spectacular.
The polyps are large and cup-like, more akin to a lord howensis than normal favia, so I don't think this is a favia in actuality; the species remains a mystery. Regardless, it is one of the most beautiful and bright corals in the farm and would provide a ray of light for any reef tank.
Despite the awesome colouration it's a relatively easy coral to keep, just keep on top of trace elements and overall water quality and the colours should persist after the amount of time in captivity.
Medium light and low to medium flow.
