Here we have an extremely unusual Acanthastrea Echinata. I have never really seen a coral with a black growth perimeter, but here it is for all to see. We purchased this coral in 2016 and it is only just starting to show signs of truly amazing colouration. The primary colour on the oral disc is bright orange, the body is fairly non-descript dull blue but the growth perimeter is either black, yes BLACK, or a vibrant yellow colour. This coral has much much more to give and it will amazing to see how it develops both here at the farm and in your tanks.
