It could be argued that the Alveopora is the prettier, more delicate cousin to the goniopora and sways in the flow with more grace. With very similar care requirements the alveopora is a relatively easy coral to keep if kept well fed and in good water quality, pay attention to trace metals such as manganese, iron and vanadium. This Alveo has been with us for a number of years and has proven to be hardy and fast growing. Frags are in growth mode and should rapidly grow out into a beautiful small colony within 6-12 months.
The morph develops a blue face surrounded by bright yellow/green tips of the 'petals'
Frags are mounted on small plugs and are approximately 1.5-2 inches across when fully extended.
