A small, but well grown out frag of Goldrush montipora; given good conditions this will encrust quickly over your rockwork giving a blast of colour; it is one of the brightest montis available. Be aware that this is the genuine Goldrush montipora, many fakes are available online. The distinguishing features are the blue polyps on the red/pink base around the growth perimeter; the older growth is orange with green polyps.
This coral will do well under a variety of lighting conditions. Under intense lighting it will develop more intense orange colour with green polyps, under lower light conditions it will produce beautiful pinks, reds and purples and those lovely blue polyps. We keep this coral in medium flow.
