If you could make a rocket out of bananas this is how it would look. Those distinctive banana shaped branches give this coral such a distinctive look as it grows out into a colony. This is an exceptional acropora, most granulosa are just green, this has a subtle yellowy orangeness about it, the axial corallites are purple and the polyps are white and purple. Quite a coral!
