Lithophyllon is the least known member of the chalice family and one of the coolest. It should be kept in the same conditions as echinophyllia or mycedium and will benefit from occasional target feeding with pellets or meaty foods.
Lithophyllon grows into a large plate or dome and is really striking coral. In the right environment it will grow fairly rapidly (like other chalices). This example has a light blue oral disc surrounded by a fluorescent green base colour.
Frags are extremely well grown out and mounted on medium plugs. Second photo is of one of our colonies.
Medium light and low to medium flow.
